What is this substack?

My name is David Fries. I studied philosophy in college, and have spent the last 23 years as a management consultant, knowledge manager, and director of healthcare analytics.

In late 2023, I discovered ChatGPT. Since I’m still a philosopher at heart, my first thought was: can we create a community for people who want to use AI creatively and philosophically to improve themselves and the world around them?

That’s the mission!
